Check Out 'Mom' On CBS

CBS never fails to amuse me. If you know me, you'd probably know I'm not into many comedies. Mom is an exception! Mom is a sitcom, which premiered September 23, 2013. The show recently started its second season October 30, 2014. The show stars Anna Faris as Christy Plunkett, a single mother who has gone a year without drinking and vows to stay sober for the sake of her family and herself.  Being sober she decides to restart her life, working as a waitress and attending AA meetings. Her mother Bonnie Plunkett, portrayed by Allison Janney, is also a recovering addict who is not only seeking help but hopes to regain the trust and love of her daughter.
I'm a huge fan of Anna Faris (who could forget her hilarious role's in The House Bunny and the Scary Movie film series?) but Allison Janney shines with her witty sarcastic remarks and (lets be honest) she's beautiful.
The series is well written and I predict it lasting for quite sometime. It's my second favorite CBS sitcom, so check it out. You won't regret it. If my poor excuse of a "review" didn't win you over, maybe these will:

I Know What You Did Last Summer

The 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' remake has been green-lit for quite some time, and it now has a 2016 release date. The original film released in 1997 and starred Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar. The plot follows an obsessed fisherman who decides to stalk a group of teenagers one year after they cover up a car accident in which they were involved in. The film later spawned a sequel titled 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer', which released in 1998. Seven years later a horrible prequel released, titled 'I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer' (which I'd like to forget about entirely)
I'm not sure how I feel exactly about a remake. I was actually hoping for a continuation instead. I'll most likely check it out when it releases, but I do hope the writers find a way to include Jennifer Love Hewitt in the cast, just a cameo appearance and I'd be satisfied. I feel like the remake will most likely be a disaster.

I feel like the film will have a huge focus on social media/technology. So I decided to put together a few tweets from the "characters".

Any thoughts on the upcoming remake? Will it actually be better than the original?

Bring Back Witches Of East End

If you don't know me, chances are you have no idea I'm a television addict. Among many of my tv show favorites Witches Of East End was my top. Lifetime released the show's first season October 6th, 2013 and just wrapped up its second season October 5th 2014. If was announced November 5th Lifetime cancelled the series. The cancellation was a shock to many and out of anger many of us are refusing to watch Lifetime. A petition was made and we decided to rally November 6th. We're all hoping lifetime changes their mind. It would even be great if another network picked up the series to continue it?
