The Lizzie Borden Chronicles on Lifetime

Lifetime might have cancelled my favorite show, Witches of East End, but they've introduced a new show I can call my favorite. The Lizzie Borden Chronicles, which follows events after the lifetime film Lizzie Borden Took An Ax, delivers a fictional account of actual people and events surrounding Lizzie's life after the double murder of her father and stepmother in 1892.
The series stars Christina Ricci, who shines again as Lizzie Borden. Ricci was partly my reason for watching, she did a great job portraying Borden in the movie so I'm glad she returned, I also watch because of my interest in the Lizzie Borden case. American Horror Story: Asylum guest star Clea Duvall has also returned as Lizzie Borden's sister Emma.
The first episode of the series premiered on Easter (April 5th 2015) and new episodes will air every Sunday at 10/9c only on Lifetime!
What do you think of the series so far?

I cant believe I am the only one posting ,anyway as you know by now I love this show so much and i have never missed an episode .I just hope that lifetime has enough brains to renew it ,the critics dont like it to much well to darn bad,I don't go by what any of them have to say because they never have anything good to say about anything especially if it is scary .I have always been interested in lizzie Borden, and Christina does a wonderful job of playing Lizzie so what if is fictional but that is what makes it so good, but as you can see it said season finale not series finale that usually means the show will be back we can only hope in this case.I give the show a ten because it is that good,I will be waiting to see if it gets renewed .

It really is such a great show! Unfortunately, it's only a mini-series. So the show is expected to only have one season. Christina is doing such a great job! I hope Lifetime decides to extend the show for another season. That would be so awesome! Fingers Crossed!

I see that Lifetime Channel website still has Lizzie Borden Chronicles listed as one of there shows,I do love this show so much.Christina is just so perfect as Lizzie.I don't care what time it comes on I will watch it again and again and again,I have always been fasinated by Lizzie Borden ,but I am not to sure she did kill her parents,I have my doubts. One thing you will never get Borden with watching this show, sorry about that .always have to leave a pun. in any case 8 episodes are just not enough, deep down inside something tells me this show wont be back but on the other hand I have a feeling that Lizzie will be back to search for Emma ,and I believe the reason why Emma changed was from the shock treatment and the drugs that creep of a doctor gave her while she was in the asylum, thanks for listening . a real and true fan of the Lizzie Borden Chronicles, keep up the good work Christina, and thanks for making me love this show and you,

thanks again Lifetime for cancelling the best show on tv you really made a mess of things this time I hope it comes back to haunt you and oh by the way I get sick and tired of them showing the same movies about 8 times a week I watch it once that is it . How about getting a brain and put the Lizzie Borden Chronicles back on now that I would watch 8 times
